Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Money-Wise website, interactive tools, assessments, Academy courses, coaching and related services. By using Money-Wise you agree to them, so please read them carefully.

Effective and last updated: 19 August 2026

The short version

Money-Wise exists to help you build financial confidence. Our content and tools are educational, not personalised financial advice. Be honest with your account, pay fairly for paid services, and treat the community and our work with respect. We will do the same for you.

Who we are

Money-Wise is the consumer financial education brand of RH Group Limited, a company registered in Kenya. These terms are an agreement between you and RH Group Limited. When we say Money-Wise, we, us or our, we mean RH Group Limited.

Education, not personalised advice

Everything on Money-Wise, including articles, tools, calculators, assessments, courses, webinars, guides and coaching conversations, is provided for education and general information. It is not personalised investment, tax, legal or accounting advice, and it does not take your individual circumstances into account. Investment products referenced on the site, including collective investment schemes offered by licensed partners, carry risk: values can go down as well as up, past performance does not guarantee future results, and any stated target return is a target, not a promise. Before making significant financial decisions, consider speaking to a licensed professional who can assess your specific situation.

Your account

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your password confidential and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to create an account or purchase services.

Payments, courses and coaching

Prices for paid courses, premium assessments and coaching are shown at checkout before you pay. Payments are processed by licensed third-party payment providers; we do not store your full card details. Course purchases give you personal, non-transferable access to the course content. Discovery call fees are credited toward coaching programmes as described at booking. If something goes wrong with a payment or you believe you were charged in error, contact us at sema@moneywise.co.ke and we will work with you to put it right.

Fair use of our content

The Money-Wise name, logo, website design, course materials, tools, assessments and written content belong to RH Group Limited or our licensors. You may use them for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, scrape or create derivative works from our content without written permission. Sharing your account or purchased course access with others is not permitted.

Acceptable behaviour

You agree not to misuse the services: no attempting to breach security, no interfering with how the site works, no uploading malicious code, no impersonating others and no using the services for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Third-party services and links

The site links to third-party services such as payment providers, investment partners, WhatsApp and video platforms, and offers an automatic translation option powered by Google. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices, which we do not control. A link or integration is not an endorsement, and we are not responsible for third-party content or services.

Our responsibility to you

We work hard to keep Money-Wise accurate, secure and available, but we provide the services as they are, without warranties that they will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RH Group Limited is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for financial outcomes resulting from decisions you make based on educational content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing removes your rights under the Consumer Protection Act of Kenya.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the services evolve. When we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or a notice on the site. Continuing to use Money-Wise after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction over any dispute that we cannot resolve together first. Questions about these terms are welcome at sema@moneywise.co.ke or on WhatsApp at 0112 440 122.
